Hello,
When I start S7 driver in the console with some number, how much the addresses can be assigned to that driver, and how many PLCs can be connected to that driver. Is S7 driver limited by the number of addresses or the number of connected PLCs or both.

Re: S7 driver, max number of connected PLCs
The S7 driver can connect up to 256 PLCs.
The possible number of active addresses is limited by the license (ios = <number>).
How many PLCs do you want to connect?
How many addresses shall be configured for the S7 driver?

Re: S7 driver, max number of connected PLCs
Thank you for quick answer. I have more than 30 PLs, and have up to 150 addresses on each PLC. Can i connect let say 10 PLCs on S7 driver number 1, 10 PLCs on S7 driver number 2 etc.
When I connected PLCs to the system for past projects, I thought I had a limit of 2000 addresses to a specific number in the console for the S7 driver. Whether that number depends on a license or a specific number in a console is limited to 2000 addresses.
What happens if I enter the 2000 addresses and I defined the number of driver for the PLC, and I need to enter another address, do I have to change the number of driver in the configuration for that PLC?
Thank you for your answer.

Re: S7 driver, max number of connected PLCs
If you have only 30 PLCs and each PLC has about 150 addresses it should be possible to make the configuration using only 1 S7 driver.
When you have reached the maximum number of possible active addresses you cannot set a new address active. You will get an error when trying to configure and activate an additional address.
