hello together,
i found an interesting text in the WinCC OA help but i'm not sure i understood this correctly. Maybe someone can help me to understand.
"For S7-1500 PLC's with firmware >= 2.6 the UTC timestamp for subscribed variables is taken directly from the PLC. ..."
For example, if I have a dpe that is registered with a subscription of 5 seconds and the value changes after 2 seconds. Which timestamp do I get then on my dpe, those after the notification (after 5 seconds) or those of the value change (after 2 seconds)?
best regards
stefan

Re: S7Plus - subscription - timestamp
From my point of view, if the PLC assigns the time stamp you should get the time stamp when the value was really changed and not when it was read by the driver.
In that case you should possibly ask the S7 PLC support team, they can give you an answer how data is handled in the PLC.
