I am currently working on a project where we have WINCC OA 3.17 installed on a red Hat operating system.
At the time of putting the texts, we can not accentuate the words, and if we import a description, a black diamond with question mark appears.
When creating the project we have chosen the languages Spanish and English.
Example of a word that we want to put : día
Is there any way to enter these characters?

I have tested it and it was possible to enter the word you have posted.
As all languages in 3.17 use UTF8 as encoding entering the text should work.
Which languages have you defined in the config file in detail?
