Which WinCC OA version is your question related to?

For example,
dpSet, dpGet, dpConnect...
I want to use these function on my EWO

From my my point of view an EWO cannot deal with WinCC OA ctrl functions.
If you want to implement an EWO you have to define functions which can interact with WinCC OA. e.g. setting a color.
The WinCC OA functions must be called in WinCC OA ctrl scripts when then calls the functions provided by the EWO.
