Hello,
with version 3.11 I have problems opening panels. My developer station runs on WinXP SP3 x86. We have two redundand servers and when I go into a folder I can not go back to the higher level path. I have to switch the path to the installation path and then to the project path again to switch up to the base panels folder.
I hope you understand my description. Let me know if you need to know any details.
What can I do to get rid of this behavior?
Thanks.

Did you specify the 'notUp' parameter of the fileSelector function?

I did not specify anything. I just click on Open Panel in Gedi. For example when I select the folder 'panels/objects/details' I can click up to ''panels/objects' but not to 'panels'. In previous versions this worked as expected.

Thanks, but where can I see the known bugs, so that I don't need to create threads like this? And does someone know, when this got patched? The now available patch is only for Win x64 systems and there is nothing mentioned about this bug.

Hello,
with every version a list of known bugs is delivered.
You'll find the file Limitations_Bugs.pdf at the files for the WinCC OA installation.
Due to the fact that the problem was found after the release of 3.11+SP1 the list does not contain this information.
Right now it is not defined when this bug will be fixed.

I am facing similar problem. I have installed all the patches for WINCCOA 3.11+SP1 till patch 22. The problem of file selector still exists. PLs suggest a solution for it, as in many of our project panels we are using the fileselector() . It does not show any files present in the folder and i am not able to move to parent folder.

Hello,
our developers had a look at the problem with the file selector. The problem (noticed at the internal number 111587) will be fixed with the next summary patch for 3.11+SP1.
When the bugfix will be available for 3.12 is not defined right now.
Older PVSS-/WinCC OA versions are not affected.

Thanks a lot! This was very annoying! Especially because the file selector is very slow too, when selecting files on mapped drives.
