Hello there,
We use PVSS II 3.9. I would like to change the client from Windows to Linux.
The Console (startconsole) and the Manager are started on the clients only with root rights. can i do the same with the right of a user? If so, with what parameters?
Linux-Clients-manager start only with root-rights?

When you just want to have the UI running on the client, there is no need in using the console or pmon.
You can just start the UI manager from within a users session (depending on your needs, you might not even have or need a desktop session but just start
the X11 server, a window manager and the UI manager in fullscreen)
