We are using windows user administration functionality for wincc oa login.We are facing some problems ;
1. We created new three groups and three users in Wincc OA
2.The same user and group is created in AD directory (Domain)
3.While we are trying login for the three new users ; the automatic login panel is appearing but the user name and password is not fetching automatically.
4. While checking the internal datapoints _User; OSID for the respective user is not updated correctly it is blank. After we entered manually then its working fine.
Question:
1. OSID will saved in the internal datapoints via automatically or we have to enter by manually.
2. If we created new user and assigned the user to any WinCC OA group it will update automatically in the WinCC OA or not
3.in the log viewer we are getting the below error;
Cyclic Updateusergroups running every 60 minutes
unexpected state,updateusergroups.ctl ; Line 2330 the user name could not be found ( 0 x 000008ad=2221)

Re: Windows user administration
Hello,
when using Windows user administration there is no need to create user groups and users in WinCC OA.
As far as I know the options to create new users and groups are deactivated in the panel for the user administration after switching to Windows user administration.
How have you created the users and user groups?
Does it work correctly if those users and groups are not created manually?
Best Regards

Re: Windows user administration
Hi.
Yes we created the user groups and users by manually and assign the permission.
For each users where we will define the permission rights in wincc oa or AD directory.
