Hello,
We have several WinCC OA installation on different computers (VM using OS Win7Pro).
The GEDI options have not been changed and I presume that the internal config parameters (.ini) too.
But, when we save the panels in xml format, often there's some additional informations which has been sometimes added as :
or changed, as the precision (either no change has been done!)
It's a big problem for us, because we store all files used in the project, with ClearCase and this additional code is a big problem to compare easily between
the current version of one file and the previous version.
How can we do to keep a common configuration for all GEDI
regards
Emmanuel

Re: xml files generations from GEDI are differents
Hello,
the content of the panels can be changed if a different version/patch level is used, e.g. new attributes have been implemented and the information needs to be stored in the panel file.
There is no common approach available to store a panel without adding necessary new information.
In the past we have made some improvements to the functionality of saving xml panels, e.g. keep the same order of attributes, e.g. with a patch for WinCC OA 3.14.
